Santa, no-school, visiting family, stories about elves and reindeer all make the holidays a magical time for children. Why not usher in the season with even more holiday cheer and decorate their bedrooms or playrooms with kid-friendly pieces?

Fresh greenery isn’t too formal for kids’ rooms. It all depends on the shape of the greenery and how you decorate it. You can make fresh greenery casual by choosing fun shapes and decorating the greenery with kid-friendly ornaments. Add a bit of whimsy in your decorating by placing a candy cane or snowflake shape P Allen Smith, candy cane wreathwreath. You can personalize the pieces for your children by attaching painted wooden trains, animals, stars, or snowflakes to the arrangement. Letting the kids paint the wooden ornaments that will go in their greenery is another way to let them help with the decorating and make holiday memories.

Don’t worry about the greenery clashing with the standing style of the kids’ rooms. Natural themes work with any color scheme or style of your home.

The thing to keep in mind during the holidays is just to have fun with this! Let your kids use their imaginations to make personalized holiday decorations that they’ll remember for years to come.
