Q: I have been spending a lot of time in my greenhouse lately, and I have noticed mealy bugs and scale on a few of the plants. To remove them, I dip a cotton swab in isopropyl alcohol. If it’s a really bad infestation, I find that washing the entire plant gently with insecticidal soap works quite well. How do you get rid of mealy bugs and scale?
