Q: I like to bring a little bit of spring into my home during the dreary months of winter by forcing branches. In general, any woody plant that blooms before leafing can be forced to flower early. Some of my favorites to force indoors are forsythia, quince, dogwood, and pear. What are your favorite branches to force open indoors?
