Every year, I plant a wide variety of annuals and bulbs with my perennials so that, from spring through fall, I am always sure to have beautiful blooms to bring indoors. Each June, I direct sow the seeds of zinnia, sunflower, and cosmos directly into the cutting garden. One inexpensive packet of seeds will produce dozens of blooms.
