Make an Easy 4th of July Centerpiece

Fire up the grill, ice down the drinks, and put out the lawn chairs. The 4th of July means it’s time to take a break from work and celebrate all that’s great about our country.

If you need a quick and easy centerpiece, look to your garden. Red, white, and blue flowers in colorful vases or other containers deliver a lot of sparkle for very little cost. Add patriotic flower picks, available from arts and crafts store, or miniature flags, if you wish. (Don’t forget to fly a full-size American flag from your porch or deck.) You can also tuck in large green leaves from hostas and other foliage plants for a stand-out display.
