 Lynn Coulter has built a reputation as an Atlanta-based freelance writer and blogger specializing in gardening, travel and faith. As a guest speaker she has shared her expertise at gardening events and club meetings, Epcot’s International Flower and Garden Festival, writers’ conferences, and book festivals.  Agnes Scott College, Kennesaw State University, and the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators have hosted Lynn as a guest instructor. She has written three books, including Gardening with Heirloom Seeds, published by the University of North Carolina Press.

 

At the Garden Club, Lynn writes The Good Seed, our column devoted not only to gardening better, but also to gardening as an activity that can make a difference in your community and the world.

 

Bloggers-Michael

Michael Nolan is best known as The Garden Rockstar™ for his young, modern approach to gardening. He is a published author, public speaker and educator on urban gardening and sustainability with more than 30 years of firsthand experience.  Michael’s no holds barred attitude helps even unlikely gardeners discover a passion for growing fresh, beautiful plants. His book I Garden: Urban Style enables a new generation to discover gardening no matter where they live, and he is happy to bring that enthusiasm and determination to the Garden Club.

 

Michael Nolan currently writes Growing Up, focusing urban gardening & gardening in small spaces, as well as kid-friendly gardening and outdoor projects for the whole family. He’ll also be sharing reader memories about growing up gardening.
